Northern Lutherie's Story begins with our Ukulele pickups. Why? Ukuleles were cheap and abundant which awarded us the opportunity to build, design and experiment.  We relied on ukuleles to help us develop our formula. Needless to say, we are extremely proud of how these sound. The two 20mm insulated sensors create a natural warmth, noiseless delivery and strong output. The Switchcraft Jack is mounted in the Lower bout of the instrument and the sensors are super-glued or double sided taped inside the soundhole within a finger's reach. While not entirely feedback resistant, these deliver substantial quality for a small price.
